Free film screenings

The Departure is an arts centre in East London that put on a number of activities for those that love the arts, ranging from fine art, to music and poetry. But enough of that you all know what I’m here to talk about. Every Friday at 7pm sharp The Departure screens non- mainstream films from around the world. Thus allowing us to see the greats such as Jean Pierre Jounet, Sean Penn and if that wasn’t enough the legendary Mr Alfred Hitchcock, put their talents on the screen for all to see. The screenings are really intimate and give film goers the chance to experience a relaxed environment where you’re able to meet people with a passion for film. The settings are somewhat reminiscent of what it might have been like decades ago when film screenings weren’t screened as often as today almost the new underground niche trying to break the surface. So glad that this motion art form is out there for all to see, and The Departure is one of the venues that share this, for free. So that being said I hope to see all you Chew users at the screenings soon.
